In September 2014 I was due to visit Kentucky – a third visit to my ‘second home’ city – a place I consider to be my home away from home. While planning the trip my friend and host, who is also a photographer, teased me with a number of portraits shot in amazing space. I found out this space was mid-way through renovation and would be unused while I was visiting.

So, I begged to use the space – and Michael said yes. So I set about a plan to shoot a series of  unclothed portraits in a naturally-lit* location and booked a few guys to pose for me. Well, once I arrived my small number turned into quite a number – in the 10 days I was there I averaged more than 2 a day!
